Technology Used

DEXA Scan: Uses low-dose X-ray radiation to measure bone mineral density (BMD).

REMS Scan: Uses ultrasound technology (Radiofrequency Echographic Multi-Spectrometry) to assess bone density and quality without radiation.

Radiation Exposure
